15th May 2012

Stonehurst would like to introducing our new family members:

2007 Méthode Champenoise (vintage champagne) - en tirage for 5 years, very French in style exhibiting a richly flavoured creamy palate, elegant fine bubbles and a dry finish.

2006 Chambourcin - medium bodied with a nose of raspberry, blackcurrants and hints of violet. Palate of ripe sweet fruit flavours integrated well with spicy oak, savoury tannins and good length.

2008 Chambourcin - The result of a very cool vintage, this Chambourcin is very Pinot Noir in character - nose of strawberry with berry, licorice and cigar box flavours on the palate and a long, smooth finish.

and the long awaited museum release 2003 Shiraz! Dark summer berries, black pepper and mixed dried fruits complemented by velvety tannins, savoury oak and a lengthy fruit finish. A drought vintage producing a classic Hunter Shiraz with intense flavours.

Order these wines online or call into our Cellar Door for a taste!
