Sculpture in the Vineyards
6th September 2012

In its 10th year, Sculpture in the Vineyards combines an eclectic mix of art, wine and picturesque countryside throughout November 2012. 60+ large scale, site specific works are set throughout five beautifully landscaped vineyard gardens along the Wollombi Valley Wine Trail.

Exhibition: 3rd November 2012 - 1st December 2012

Sculpture in the Vineyards gears up for its 10th annual exhibition of large-scale outdoor sculptures.

Featuring over 60 outdoor sculptures, Sculpture in the Vineyards is a celebration of art and wine, where picturesque boutique vineyards and cellar doors along the Wollombi Valley Wine Trail are transformed into 5 temporary sculpture parks.

An eclectic mix of art and wine, this exhibition combines a taste of fine regional wines with a drive through some of New South Wales most historic and scenic countryside.

The exhibition opens 3rd November with celebrations featuring a lantern parade and Aboriginal smoking & dancing ceremony. Then throughout November join in the festivities with Art, Food & Wine tours, twilight picnic tours of Aboriginal rock carvings guided by local indigenous elders, workshops, artist talks and an Art, Food & Wine degustation dinner.

The boutique vineyards are all family owned - Stonehurst Cedar Creek, Undercliff Winery, Wollombi Wines, Noyce Brothers Vineyard and Wollombi Village Wines.

A really great reason to visit the Hunter Valley this summer!
